Left Barra Lagon on Sunday Morning. Had slight hangovers. Well, Andy had the worst!! Though he did still get up and make me boiled eggs for breakfast. haha We went to the local beach party last night. It didn't get busy until about 2am but once it did it was a really good night. We were drinking the Brazilian drink, which is sold everywhere, Caipirunga. And they serve these up very strong. The bar on the beach had a big screen up and Groove Armanda was playing. My type of night, really enjoyed it. Anyway, we made our way back to Centro, where we found that we couldn`t get a bus to Urugury until Monday so we had to find a hostel for the night. Once found, I just went to sleep for the afternoon. Waste of a day I know, but I couldn`t be bothered to do anything. I did get up in the evening however and decided to try the local food. I just choose the first thing I saw. Well, what a mistake! A plate of what looked like testicals came out for me! And Andy had a normal burger and chips - lucky thing. I did try and eat the testicals (which was some kind of chicken), but the look and texture put me off. Next time I will stick to the PLAIN and SIMPLE food.
