Day 3 Hey guys, quick update. Managed to wake up in time today. Took a canal boat ride to Baglamphu, which is the main backpackers area. Went and saw Wat Pho and the grand palace. Though we were told by some tuk-tuk driver that it didnt open till 2 and that we should go somehwhere else. didnt buy it tho. Went there and found out the place closes at 3.30pm. Damn tuk-tuk people, all try to con us. The place was amazing. Full of colour and wonder. The architercture and decoration is fantastic, never seen anything like it. You can see for yourself in the pictures. The grand place is home to the famous emerald Buddah, and wat pho is home to the famous reclining Buddah,an enormous buddah on its side. It was huuuuge. I have a photo of the head and a photo of the feet, which was underliad with mother of pearl (dont really know what that is, but it looked nice). Baglamphu is surrounded by temples like these. Again another very hot day and lots of walking today. We got back to the hotel and fell asleep for like 4 hours. The heat just drains you of all energy. Just need to get used to it i guess. Ok, they're are kicking us out the internet cafe now so gotta go. byeee
