More Bachata
As our lesson today was arranged for 4pm we had a little lie in before getting up for breakfast and spent what was left of the morning on the patchy internet and practising a bit of dancing. After some delicious melon as a late lunch, eventually it was time to go and we walked eagerly to our next lesson arriving at least 15 minutes early and practising a bit more in front of the huge mirrors in the studio. When our teacher, Bolivar, arrived we were already warmed up and ready to go so got stuck straight into another 3 hour session, easily as good as the first. When our lesson ended we managed to beg one more for tomorrow morning before Bolivar had to return home, he lives in a town called Semana about 2 ½ hours away and as he was here this weekend, he would be there the next. Thanking them both for their time we left Carla and Bolivar to their next lesson and headed back to the apartment for a well deserved shower. Knowing we had a lesson at 9am we decided not to go out tonight and instead finished off some rum which we had with our dinner of tacos (still not bored of them!) before getting an early night.
