Super Mario!!
So today we went to the DMV who told us we could have a car!! Yay!! And that actually it was quite simple as all we had to do was have/borrow a postal address...Sheli was kind enough to let us use hers! :) Ok, now the task of finding a car...we were a bit stumped on this so decided the best course of action was to mull it over with 20 chicken nuggets for $5.99!!!! :) Oh and to ring Mario...kind of figured he was one of those people who know people...we were right!! Mario is amazing!! He came and picked us up pretty much there and then and started driving us around lokking for a vehicle. We set ourselves a limit of $1500, Mario thought this was crazy and that we wouldn't find anything for that price. But none the less he was going to give it a go. He took us around all the car dealers that day and we realised we woudn't get anything there and also found out about a car auction which he agreed to take us to the next day. Having had no success that day he decided to cheer us up with Mexican food and Maria Garitas (as he calls them) at a place called Gallos. The food here was excellent and faily reasonably priced. We also had a mexican desert of fried ice cream!! He then dropped us back at Sheli's house and agreed to pick us up later to take us dancing. We went to a club called Sorayas, however it was quite quiet. It seems that here they play song types in groups of two or three with a wide variety including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, etc. We eventually left there and went to Platinum Jaxx wich was packed, we saw a few people here that we recognised from the Salsa festival. At 2am when bars close we all went back to Lena's (a lady from the salsa congress) house to continue the party. She had a great wooden floor that we were able to dance on whilst listening to the salsa channel on the TV. At 4am we decided to call it a night as we had to be up early fot the car auction the next morning.
