HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY ADAM!! Really sad i couldnt have been there, but im sure you had an awesome birthday ;)

Ok, so much for that relaxing week I thought i was getting!! My cousin, and the swiss in general love to go out most nights of the week, so my body hasnt been too happy with me this last week. But, before the party nights started, had one very frustrating/slightly embarrasing day in Geneva, and then I headed with my cousins mum to the mountains for a couple days!

So first day walking through Geneva, i managed to find the city center and then i spent about 10 minutes there before heading back; and in 1 minute of that 10 I managed to lose 250 Euro... I managed to get conned by some Russian Mafia, lost my money, was about to start a fight but then realized there were about 10 of them and one of me, so calmed myself down, walked around the block and noticed a couple of the guys following me. Jumped on a leaving bus and headed back to the safe house! Not the greatest way to spend my first official touristy day in switzerland, but all in all im still alive, having a good time now in switzerland so just have to forget about it! :) Managed to get into the UN at night for a mini private tour! Awesome place, going to get an actual tour of the place probs next week. Found out that heaps of people set themselves on fire there... kind of strange, but its seen as normal there lol.

Any ways, next couple days was in the mountains. My cousins mum has a Chalet in a place called Villar which is like 1400 feet up the mountain. Was a pretty busy two days, taking detours everywhere to try and find some cool touristy things for me to see, failed pretty bad at it. Tried to find the nestle chocolate factory but found a housewives food museum instead... Found the Evian water source!! So people are just filling up litres of Evian water; saves them like 10 euro per bottle! It snowed on the second day at the mountain, was so lucky!! Did all the snowy things like snow angel and snow men :) Met an Australian girl that was working at a hostel and was meant to go on a hike with her but never found her hostel so just bailed, found a nice mountain to climb and went by myself! Was a really nice walk, the higher i got the thicker the snow was, kept on pushing me to climb higher haha.

So after the mountain trip, it was drinking time! First night was a Law ball night, so got all dressed up and headed to a fancy club. Pretty good night, cant remember too much of it to be honest! Met an aussie guy and his group of girls, cool people. Also met my cousins friends who had a VIP area with a MASSIVE bottle of vodka, i dont even think it was finished by the end of the night. After sleeping for 15 hours, managed to wake up for dinner and the second night began! That night was the 'Manifestation'!! Thats what they call a protest in English, pretty funny word for it lol. Headed to that to start off, was about 7-8000 people there was massive, was so easy to meet anyone. Then off to a kareoke gaybar to meet one of the guys friends for a bit, pretty chilled there, then off to a shaker bar!! I sware we dont have shakers in Aussie, so they are about half a litre of a cocktail shot (we had Darth Vador, felt pretty badass that night) and u only shot it. Luckily some girls came to see us so we could share it, punished that off and then to 'the factory' which is probably the most popular club here cos its the cheapest, and only plays really heavy beats... like dubstep... Wasnt reaaaallyyy my kind of thing, but after drinking I could dance to anything lol.

So two nights down, still two to go for this week, about to head off now for the third night so shall see how it goes. Pretty devoed I missed Adams 21st party and birthday-day, but I was celebrating with you guys, but just in a different place :P
