We should be on our way to Salta but we've had to delay our journey by a day.

We have to return to the bus station on 26th, tomorrow, to complete a police report on a theft.

Whilst we are fine and still have all our vital documents, at 20.15 hrs on 25th November some clever thieves made off with the cameras and all the DVD's of photos taken since Thailand. The bag also contained the whole of Richard's detailed diary of the trip - Jan to Nov!

Obviously we are both very upset about this, to say the least!

The irony is that the taxi driver who took us to the bus station reminded us to be very careful with our bags. We thought that we were. But, whilst Richard went off to check if the coach had arrived and for once didn't take the camera, the thieves struck. Even though the camera was just by Ana's leg, someone must have grabbed it from under the seat from behind as the other thief asked Ana if they could clean her shoes! Although we know about this kind of thing, fortunately we've been spared up until now.

We've had to cancel most of the cards because copies of some were in the camera bag. Ana still has the only debit card so we're ok.

So, we continue our travels a little downcast for the time being. We'll try to put it behind us and move on, dwelling on the memories of all the good things that we've seen and done.

And, of course, there's the blog and all the original photos Kate took home with her from Bangkok!
