Orchids, sunshine, cold and rain have to be left behind in Bariloche as we board the coach for Buenos Aires. It will be 24 hours before we reach our destination!

At 22.00 hrs. we pass a sign 'warning' us that there are still 1200 km. to go!

After a reasonably good night's sleep we traverse the vast Pampas. Here there are hundreds of raptors sharing the fence posts for lookouts. The thousands of cattle are grazing, apparently oblivious to myriad bird species around them. Goshawks, falcons, harriers, kestrels, herons, egrets and storks, to name a few.

"Happy Feet" follows "Gladiator" in the stream of DVD's we've been subjected to and ends just in time: we've arrived at the Terminal de Omnibus!

Is it Sunday 18th Nov.! Yes, we think it is!

Buenos Aires will be our home for a week. We need time to catch our breath and plan for the final stages of this epic tour.
