The centre of Cusco has a beautiful plaza surrounded by Spanish colonial buildings. The cathedral is very impressive. All the buildings are constructed out of stone and the pavements are square stone paviers. Most of the roads are cobbles. Just a short walk away there is a warren of small streets, passageways and pathways. Some consist of stone steps as the gradiant is so steep. We left Copacabana on Saturday. A three hour bus journey brought us to Puno in Peru. The border crossing was as basic as the one into Bolivia from Argentina.
