This afternoon, whilst Ana was updating her CV, I ventured forth alone to the nature reserve near the docks. Only a 20 min. walk away, it was full of surprises. Not least, the 3 foot long monitor lizard!

The docks are getting a bit of a face-lift and already accomodate a few yachts . It's a completely different side to Buenos Aires.

The ajoining nature reserve is full of birds including the black-necked swans. No orchids! But lots of walkers, cyclists and ornithologists enjoying the afternoon sun.
