Luke’s 3rd birthday party at the end of this week, so we got his presents sorted out ready to take with us at the weekend. Only needed to go to Warwick for that. We both had a crappy week, worrying about stuff but sorted ourselves out though in the end.
A few shifts not many hours this week, they getting less at the minute – not good but hey ho!
Friday was cool and the main bit which made us happy, because we did a sort through of all our stuff, clothes, paper work, keep sakes the lot so we knew what we needed to get or not need for New Zealand. Really funny, got rid of quite a lot of stuff actually, we seem to have collected a load of stuff again since being in Perth lol!
Saturday we went to Pip and Keith’s to help get stuff ready for Luke’s 3rd birthday party on Sunday, so we helped make the cake – the most important thing! Luke had picked a truck cake just to be difficult, but Pip was set on making it herself. It was a giggle making it, we had a few blunders but we made it in the end! Lisa and Keith built his bike, so after all that was done we headed home for some sleep before the big day!
Lisa was working in the morning so I went to Keith’s to help Pip as Keith went to footy. We got the tables, balloons, food and everything else ready for when the kids came. We also had to attach our wheels to the cake because last night we a slight problem with them lol!! Haha!
It was cool, Lisa and Keith made it home just in time, Keith had to inflate the bouncy castle and then that was it we were ready for the little ones! It was dads birthday too today, so I managed to give him a call and wish him happy birthday and see if he liked his Steve Irwin card! Lol! I hear it did!!
Lots of small children running around and bouncing all other the place – then it was time for pass the parcel – good old favourite! Lol! The drinks were flowing after this as the children started to disperse, then the adults started drinking bit more heavily, then Keith made some homemade pizza for us all. Class night!
