We have offered to cook for Keith and Pippa tonight. On the menu are spring rolls, Thai green curry, chicken and cashew nuts and the chicken and coconut soup lovely! I can’t wait to eat it all after all they are our speciality dishes now after our Thai cooking class! So we headed to Whitfords to get the ingredients and to sort Elliott’s 18th Birthday Present – the photo book. So the evening came round quickly and we headed back to Nicholli and started to cook – the final products were liked by all the crowd!
We chilled by the pool the next day as it was really hot. The pool was freezing though but we still got in haha! We were both led on the sun beds when we looked at each other and we both were seeing spring rolls haha! – So off we went to cook the final 12 haha and ate 8! Must have been hard work all that sunbathing lol! But to be fair the spring rolls were awesome! Defo one we will make for years to come!
Today we were moving into our new house in Warwick – the next suburb from Keiths. The house is very cool, the garden not great but as we are going to be busy gardening we won’t have the luxury of sunning it for a while lol. The house was ready for us to move in we just had to sort out the extra single bed lol! We just chilled in the morning really, messing around in the pool, as we were pretty much packed. Keith lent us the car to drive all our bags down, and managed to get that bed done, we then headed back after grabbing a McD’s as we were starving and didn’t have anything in yet lol to go back and babysit the boys. We then biked down to the new house – here it is 16 Fernlea St, Warwick. Awesome! We ended tonight with House and Life on tv lol – quality!
Thursday was pay day so we woke up to find we had not been paid – gutted – so we get onto that and get Phil told! Eventually we got paid properly 4 days later. Routine starts now – work, sleep, shop for food essentials lol – basically all we did haha.
We were gutted to find us both working over night and when I finished 6 hours before Lisa, I went to get my bike to come running back in and asking Lisa where did you park the bikes, she says normal place and I was like ‘well they have gone!’ Yes, they have been robbed, so we grabbed a taxi home and onto the police the next day – gutted – we weren’t getting them back! Worse thing though was that I had to wait 6 hours in the closed restaurant for Lisa to finish her shift!! Proper bored!! Lots of free tea though lol! Not impressed!
I worked in the day the following day, so Lisa spoke with Carolyn – the house owner and they went to the local tip to find 2 bikes for $5 each lol – the only work they needed was a couple of inner tubes which we quickly got onto and sorted our transport again – the robbing b*****s! The woman said all bikes are $5! Bargain – remember that for later haha!
