Wow, our 39th week away – can you believe that!! We cant lol! Its going too quick now, but means we are to start to enjoy it even more lol! I no the blogs probably make it sound real boing lately but hey, we earning the cash and the experience so we can move on to the rest of the trip and live the last part even harder than the first!! This week had a turn around and a really nice twist!!
So we both had the Monday off, rare occasion so we hit town for some retail therapy, spent some money this time but cant tell you what on just yet!! We hit the liquor store and got us a box of wine n headed home for some boozey night giggles! And to bug the pants out of our landlord haha!
A little shift at work in the middle then we hit town to go to Peterpans to re-visit our trip and guess what??? We managed to pay for the whole of New Zealand! Whoop Whoop! So excited and chuffed with ourselves – managed to get enough saved already to pay for our campervan for the south island, and for the Magic bus tour we are doing in north island – how cool is that!!
After this we thought we would hit the tax office and see what we needed to get our tax back for the money that we were due back. This was a shock cause they told us we are unable to claim back any of our money – so now we are slightly stuffed!! But we will work it out and sure enough we did. Don’t worry peeps – we wont be back home just yet!! Lol!
Still on a high though (just!) as we payed for New Zealand – this meant our plans for the route we are going to use for the south island can start to come together now. Means lots of New Zealand websites!!
So that was a mixed feeling week, but then we got put down even more as the rain came out for like 3 days non-stop so we got soaked most of the 3 days cause we worked for all 3 of them lol!! Haha!
