Well, this week is mums birthday, but she is probably not that fussed that im not there basically because she is gallivanting around Australia herself the lil b*****! Lol
For us though it was full of mostly job hunting this week, we went to Hillarys first then of course more hunting in the papers n on the internet. We went into the city (by the train) for a look there but don’t seem to be much about there.
Spent an hour cleaning up the house Thursday then whilst hovering managed to put my back out n so spent most of the day led on floor with ice on me back! Nice!
Friday was cool though; Keith was going to work to his office in Freemantle so we got a lift with him and spent the day there.
Freemantle is a lovely place. Quite a touristy place, with a cappuccino strip, a city walk and a harbour. We met with Keith for lunch then headed to the best part – a guided tour around the very famous Freemantle Prison. Really interesting wandering around there. We saw the cells, the courtyard, the prison church (where some people actually get married in now!) and not forgetting the place where they did the hanging!! Haha tried to persuade Lisa to try it out but she wouldn’t fall for it! Haha!
The Sunday topped off our week though with an invite for a roast dinner with all the trimmings at Liz and David’s house and oh…it was gorgeous!! Well needed!!
