The first week of work – what a start, we both headed to work for our first shift on Monday at Dominos Pizza, and the first thing…..its not my shift!! So that was the end of that lol! Nope – it’s me tomorrow and Lisa today haha oh well, to the beach it is for me lol with my Jackie Collins book!
So sat reading with my tunes in my ear, chilling out with the occasional glance up checking out the talent as you do and find that everyone has for some had come out of the sae! Yep – not one person was in there and a crowd was growing on the steps near me. I took my tunes out of my ear and heard what was actually going on.
Over the tanoi the life guards where saying a public announcement:

‘due to a shark spotting we advise everyone to stay out of the water until further notice, I repeat, please stay out of the water due to the shark spotting 50metres of the shore!!

I was like no way!! It’s heating up out here! They were lifeguards out on jet ski’s, helicopters out over the water doing circles and a huge crowd had formed along the pier! Awesome! I didn’t manage to see it though but hey being there was wicked fun! This took to just over an hour by which time Lisa had finished work but it had all finished by then! Haha! The craziest thing was that as son as the lifeguards gave the all clear, people were straight back in there!! You wouldn’t find me swimming in the shark infested waters that quickly! Jeezz!!
So the week was filled with work, which was pretty easy, crappy weather and the shark spotting seem to increase pretty quickly around New South Wales!
