My January has been pretty action packed - The north of Australia is SO much better than the south! I'm in Thailand now but just realized I've written nothing on Vietnam...... I think that's because I didn't really like it. It rained for pretty much the entire 2 weeks I was there. The temples in Siem Reap were amazing. We were so lucky, every time we left a temple 3 or 4 coaches of tourists turned up so we managed to avoid the big crowds and in the morning the place was deserted - you could just hear the birds and there were loads of butterflys, it was really surreal. Its crazy that they don't protect the buildings though, you can climb all over them and go where ever you want - health and safety is just unheard of! We left at 5am...
