Tuesday 26th May

A morning spent resting, but unable to sleep. We go out for lunch to a vegetarian restaurant/cafe. It's busy and we can't see any seats. A man helps us get seats. You just go and get your food then have it weighed and put on your tab. The food is nice, but the plates are small. Too bad I'm not more hungry. We walk around the square and see a tour bus waiting. We ask in the info centre and find out is leaving in 30min. We decide to go. We need 4 ppl for the bus to leave. We meet a Canadian lady also waiting. She has been traveling around South America and been on a few river cruises on the Amazon. In the end there are 6 passengers and we leave. It's a food overview if the city and it's nice to see how many we have already seen. We stop at black point and get ice cream in local fruit flavours. We learn from the Canadian lady that there is another free performance at the theatre and we plan on going. We walk to the supermarket to get some extras for dinner and tomorrow's trip as we'll probably be stuck at the airport again.
We have dinner and head to the theatre. Malcolm goes to buy more ice cream and I wait in line. Some on the flavours are local, and strange. Soon the show begins. It appears to be a local dance group. It's quite sensual and we don't enjoy much. I guess you win and loose some.
Packing up isn't much fun, 3:40am will come soon.
