Hello All!

It has been a while since our last blog, but we are still in Melbourne working and saving for the rest of our travels. Clare is working at the Australian Red Cross on the Indonesia Earthquake and Samoa Tsunami appeals at the moment, and Amy just finished working at the Uni last Friday, so is waiting for some more work from the Temp agency.

The weather is finally getting warmer here now - still not what you think of heat-wise when you first think of Australia - more like UK summer temperatures. Amy had to work this morning, but Clare and our flatmates went down to the beach. Cant wait for summer to hit!

We've been trying to plan the rest of our trip, and have to decide whether we want to travel New Zealand by bus and stay in hostels, or hire a car and a tent because the price of campervan hire has sky-rocketed :( We will probably hire a car and tent though as it gives us more freedom and only works out about 500 pounds for a whole month (cheap as!). For America, we have found out that flying is eally cheap so will be flying from San Francisco - Las Vegas, Las Vegas - Chicago and Chicago - New York (anything to avoid Grehound buses!) We've found cheap rooms in the Excalibur casino in Vegas too so we're happy.

We cant quite believe its been nearly 5 months already - halfway! And we only have 6 weeks left before we leave Melbourne (obviously we will be going to another Neighbours night before then with our flatmates since they havent been yet), then we will be non-stop travelling until we come home.

Sorry for the slowness of blogs at the moment, but we're just working and not really doing much new... soon though!
