Hey All,

We're sheltering from the evil heat in a cafe with the oh so brilliant air con they have dotted around Kao San Rd. Kats snoozing on a coffee shop bench (bless her lol!) since she hasnt slept since about 9am yesterday, and its 3pm here now! No beds 'til the night train at 10 either. We'll get into Chang Mai early tomorrow afternoon - a 15 hour train journey! We'll be there a few days, but we'll keep updating and upload some pics once there.

Also, ARGHHH at the Tuk Tuk men!!!! If we want to go somewhere, we will ask, no need to stalk us down the road!!!! ... vent over.

For all at WSC: The ipod is going very well...i am planning on buying some mini speakers to spread the musical love. Hopefully i can get some relatively cheap ons whilst here. Also (just so the boys can make use of it, and get practicing!), here is the famous brownie recipe....

Melt 300g plain chocolate in a bowl over some hot water. Add in 225g Margarine and heat until melted completely. Then in a separate mixing bowl (large) mix together 3 eggs and 225g of sugar. Add to this the hot liquid chocolate mixture. Once mixed, add in 75g self raising flour and about 200g chopped milk chocolate. Pour the mixture into a medium sized tin (12"x6" roughly) and place in the oven at 190C. Leave for about 30-35 minutes until golden on the edges. Then ENJOY!!!!

ps - We have actually been out and about today (just realised we forgot to mention this above :) ). We went on a longboat around the dirty Bangkok 'river', which was interesting. Its practically a jungle 5 mins ride away from the centre, with lots of very unsteady looking houses on stilts above the water. We're surprised the boat didnt sink, so are very happy to have avoided an unexpected swim! We also went to Wat Pho (i think?) where the Sleeping Bhudda is - it was HUUUGGGGEEE!!! - see blog image - the Bhudda is in the building behing the big gold cone thing. Its feet alone were > 9' high!
