Hey All!! We have safely made it to Bangkok, been here a day and a half now. So very different from England - the 35 degree heat for one! Bangkok is a very green city, but has a certain oudor about it! The Thai drivers are also completely barking..possibly the scariest thing we have experienced (we have also had to run across a 16 lane rush hour carriage way!). Today we bought our tickets for going up to Chiang Mai tomorrow night and ventured into the Grand Palace - about 2 hours later than originally planned after a little tuk tuk driver decided to give us a 'tour', an experience we wont forget in a hurry! Surprisingly, even though Thai people dont like feet, they make you take your shoes off a lot!! Kat is also joining us tomorrow for a fun-packed week up north.
