Was super excited to see the canal! Was lucky enough to be there in the morning to watch the Miraflores lock work her magic as a cargo shipped from Hong Kong steamed through. Something utterly mesmerising & also nostalgic about watching it. So old fashioned but so clever! There are plans to modernise & rebuild over the coming years so was so pleased to be able to see it as it was nearly 100 years ago.

Yaaay a spot of magnet shopping & of course bought my panama hat. Love it!

Had a wander round Casco Veijo then lunch on the Causeway Marina.
