Apologies but all my photos of VGB are on my camera so this post is accompanied by a photo of Cordoba cathedral.

Sooooo after being sensible last night & going to bed at 2 mildly tipsy rather than going dancing because we are going riding...we get up for an early alarm only for riding to be cancelled. Grumble, grumble!!! Was tempted to go back to bed but had just partaken of my morning java so carpe diem & all that!!

Took a little microbus to VGB. A mere hour & half of windy roads & we arrived! VGB looks like an alpine village. Had to keep reminding myself I was in Argentina. The air smelled of chocolate, knackwurst & beer!! Very cute but a little Disneyfied for my tastes.

Highlight of the day was finally trying a Lomito. The Argentine equivalent of the hamburger except with very thin, yummy filet steak. Delish!!! Although was so big couldn't eat until 12 noon the next day!
