Felt very smug as I left MAAM as tourists were queuing round the block when I had walked straight in!! That'll teach all those posh holiday makers having long, delicious lunches during siesta time. You snooze, you lose!! Sadly when the Cathedral opened at half 4 there was a mass dash of tourists across the square so my quiet appreciation was disturbed by hundreds of flash bulbs!

Hungry & dejected & poor from the traveller cheque debacle, we headed to the market for cheap food. I had the millenesa. Hmmmmm no idea what meat had been breaded & deep fried. My top choices are horse or dog. Tasted surprisingly ok washed down with bright orange soda! Delighted to say the rest of the day picked up!
