Our ship docked in Regensburg about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. We had a walking tour towards the Stonebridge which is located next to the oldest bratwurst (sausage) kitchen in Germany (it dates back to the year 1135). The Stonebridge rests on 16 arches and is one of Europes earliest surviving bridges. There is also the Porta Praetoria which is a 2nd century Roman gateway whose remains have been incorporated into a later structure.
