As we cruised towards Freudenberg we were treated to a glass blowing demonstration on board. The glass blower came from a long line of glass blowers and he was quite a character - very entertaining.

When we arrived in Freudenberg, a group of about 20 of us had a bike riding tour from Freudenberg to the next village of Wertheim - a distance of about 27km. It wasn't too hard except I felt the pace was a little fast. We did stop at a Beer- garten on the way for a refreshing drink.

After arriving in Wertheim which is a delightful town, they made us walk up to the castle which was positively cruel after the bike ride, all for the promise of a drink. I'm sure I would have preferred staying in town and poking around the shops. Anyway, Brad took a nasty photo of me struggling to get up the hill with a nasty look on my face (and also a nasty hand gesture I think - the photo has been deleted)

Overnight the boat sailed for Wurzburg.
