This morning I woke up and went for a run down the coastline. It was beautiful, but no one goes swimming over there because there are beware of crocodiles signs... And I was still worried about sharks and stingers!
In the afternoon I went to the lagoon (which is apparently just a big pool next to the beach) to go for a swim. There was a gauge at the pool that showed UV danger levels sort of like fire danger levels at home. It was set to 'Extreme' of course. No worries, I now put sun cream on every few hours like I would once have put on moisturizing lotion, though I think I missed a spot on my back today as there is a weird uneven spot. I am almost obscenely tan even with the constant sun cream.
After my swim I found a shady spot in the grass to lay out and read my book. It was very pleasant for a bit. The wind started to pick up in the afternoon making relaxing a bit difficult. My attempts to stay in my spot were finally abandoned when a tree branch from the palms above broke off and landed less than a foot from my head. I took that as a sign that the tree wanted me to move, so I found a free art museum and enjoyed some air conditioning.
