Thursday night we spent in Hope, Arkansas. When we got up on Friday, we went to visit Bill Clinton's boyhood home. He lived there from birth to four years old, but was there often until he was ten since it was his grandparent's home. Arriving in Dallas Friday afternoon, we stopped at El Fenix for lunch then checked into The Highland for the weekend. Phil had time to finish grading most everything so we will have most of our time free for the next couple of days...

We made it to Amarillo by late afternoon, after leaving home about 10:30 so I could stop and get my nails done on the way out of town. Philip dropped me off and went for gas then dropped our leftover groceries at Erin’s while I was busy at the salon. Another day of driving from Fort Smith to Amarillo. We could have driven the rest of the way tonight, but it would have put us into Albuquerque very late, so we decided to stop one more night.
