We drove the rest of the way to Dallas today. It was only about a four-hour drive. The GPS in the RAV4 took us on a route that we haven't taken into Dallas before. We passed through Decatur on 287 then about 15 miles later turned east on highway 114. We stayed on it until it joined 183 then I35E and became the Stemmons Freeway. We drove a little bit farther today than we usually do in one day. Made it to Childress for the night after stopping for lunch in Tucumcari at Kix on 66. It had shown up on one of the lists of good restaurants in the state, but I don't remember where I saw it. The lunch was good, but not outstanding.
