Starting the trip, we met Erin at Olive Garden for a Fathers’ Day lunch before leaving Albuquerque. We drove to the first of several Hampton Inns for this trip, this time the one on the south loop in Lubbock. After sleeping in so long that we missed the hotel breakfast and after letting Philip get some work done online, it was after twelve by the time we left the hotel. Our first stop was the newer location of Orlando's Pizza. Orlando's had the best delivery pizza when we were Tech students, and they didn't disappoint us today.
