There isn't a great deal of sights to see in Shanghai so I've spent the last couple of days taking it easy. I went on an open bus tour around the main part of Shanghai learning about the history. It was interesting and the breeze kept me awake. I also found the first english person I've seen in China who had just got off a cruise.
Went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch and had the most spiciest rice which left me burning for a while. For dinner we ate at a Chinese restaurant ordered lots of Chinese veg as we were craving some vitamins, the food was great some was fried in soya sauce the beans were stewed in garlic and the cauliflower in a chilli sauce.
Yesterday i spent the day in the hostel trying to book my flight to hong kong and the hostel when finally a Chinese friend went on a Chinese travel agents and booked it cheap. We then went to a the major university to a a nearby restaurant, the food was more middle eastern spiced lamb there was a 2 hour wait which proves the place is good.
I met a scottish lady in my hostel who is a doctor and after hearing her profound travelling experiences as she has travelled to Ethiopia, Japan and Thailand. I've been inspired to write a list of the things i want to achieve in a year and will try and complete them so i will now spend my time creating this list and starting it.
1 more day left so I will find the best food.
Inventory 100% hopefully when i reach Hong Kong it will be more action packed again just tying things up now
