I really liked Kuala Lumpur alot which was so nice after Melaka. I stayed in a really nice area where we could reach everything easily by walking, though were out of the mad hub of central and cinatown.
The first day I got there I went to lunch with some other girls and as we got our food it started to rain. And then it really really rained, flooding the streets and stranding us there for a couple of hours. By the end of our stay in KL, however, this was our 'local' and the staff would wave to us as we passed.
The following couple of days I went to see Chinatown, the national mosque (didn't like this very much), unsuccesfully went to a different mosque that looked nicer (it always seemed to be the wrong time that we were there), the Islamic arts museum (this was really amazing and definately worth a visit even just for the building itself), and also saw the twin towers.
For those of you who keep asking what I will be doing for Christmas I actually met a girl in KL who will be in south thailand at about the same time that I am, so we agreed to do something together. I hope this stops you worrying about where I'll be and what I'll be doing.
