So my flight from Hong Kong was interesting as my bag was 4kg overweight so I ended up pulling my bag apart in the middle of the airport and ended up with the biggest carrier bag ever as hand luggage. So big in fact that I really struggled to carry it!

Singapore turned out to be exactly the heat I was after, and a whole lot more! I ended up staying there quite a lot longer than expected and I liked it a whole lot more than i had thought I would.

I managed to see quite a lot of Singapore in the 5 days that I was there as it is only a small place. So I went to see Chinatown (kind of weird to see after coming straight from China), Little India, Sentosa Island (I didn't like this very much as it was a man made, fake, touristy island, but it was nice to see the sun, sea and sand I guess), Singapore's weird idea of Christmas and also the jungle.

I managed to meet up with Dad's old friend Tony which was really nice as he showed me parts of Singapore that I probably wouldn't have bothered with, so I got to see a bit more of the 'real' Singapore. I also got a bit of luxury staying in his apartment for a couple of nights. We also went trekking through the jungle on a long and hot 26km hike. Other than the heat it was really nice and I got to see so many monkeys!!
