Well, we ticked a lot of boxes the past 24 hours. We saw the ring of Kerry, explored Killarney and saw a drunk Irishman. We also finished our quest (a small one albeit) by having a pint of every Irish tap beer at the pubs around Killarney (over two nights, not in one sitting). My favorite would have to be Smithwicks Irish Ale, beautiful beer of you can find it. Disappointed there was no Kilkenny, but maybe in Dublin. The ring of Kerry is basically a stretch of road which takes in some spectacular scenery. There are rolling green hills that eventually roll into the ocean, ruined buildings and castles, waterfalls and rivers and quaint little towns just chugging alone. Very nice stuff really. I also learnt that we will be in Dublin on Sunday for the Gaelic football grand final between Dublin and Kerry. I've even purchased a Kerry guernsey to mark the occasion. It should be an exciting day/night. That's really all there is to tell you about our day as we have spent most of it on our arse except when we walked into town. Anyway, hooroo
