This is he kick ass plane I'm sitting in right now. I get into Bangkok about 7pm local time I think and I've planned where I'm going and will practice some lingo when I get toy he airport if it hopefully has wifi :)
We got back to the hotel at 8am yesterday morning, fantastic night! I made a marvellous wingman (even I I do say so myself) for Tom and it was well worth not having made plans; I got up at 2, happy as parry on the way to the Pokemon Center but the hangover was kicking by the time I set off back. I have an awesome new subtlety Pokemon t-shirt.
There are no lighters I the hold luggage so I had the challenge of finding one I had put in for fire making when I got to the airport. I didn't know where it was and it wasn't in the most likely places. I hadn't seen it while I was packing/unpacking/living out of it before. So we sent it to the X-ray machine and the chaps kept pointing at areas they thought it was in so I littered the table with junk, from condoms to sandals to ketchup. Of course I brought ketchup. Don't mock me! Hahaha. For disgusting food emergencies. Anyway the lighter was in the mesh pouch on the outside of the bag. So that was that.

Food
Worst sandwiches ever from the plane lady, but at least they were after quite a nice curry. The wine wasn't great, I'll go for a g&t next I think. I got some snacks at the airport with a combined bag of shrapnel from hotel folk. One was a ice cream wafer with red berry ran things which I finished before checking in, the other is a bag of weird ginger crisps which are not at all as nice as they look, but better than my polystyrene sandwiches!
Fact: THAI operates daily flights to Samui from Bangkok. Courtesy of the in flight magazine... I don't even know where Samui is.
