We crept into the mouth of the river last night and watched walls of trees grow high. It was all so lush after 6 days at sea. We eventually anchored near a pier when it was too dark to go further.
Guy cooked more lobster and went to bed. There was so much to listen to around us, lots of fish jumping in the river, birds and things like crickets but a hell of a lot bigger in the trees.
Next morning up the river we went, through another manatee park, past the presidents house and an ex Columbian drug lords house up to the bridge. Guy got us in a hostel and then we headed to a waterfall.

Was bloody great, cold water in the pool but then the waterfall itself was toasty hot as it came from a hot spring. There was a mini cave under the waterfall too which I pooped my pants going in.

Eutropiusz Thank you so much, Neal, for taking the time to cneommt on my Eagle shot. I love Eagles as you can probably tell by my post. They make such an impression on everyone who is lucky enough to see them. Wow! I would love to have an eagle hiss at me. I would love to be that close. I can't imagine that.
