After 5 days of biking we reached our end destination which was at the beach! After dumping our things at the hotel it was off to the beach and straight in to body surf size waves which was said to be bigger than usual due to the typhoon.

With appetites worked up we had our first western food experience (pizza, pasta, cheese, that type of thing). Night market shopping was in order. Kat and Dai went back to the hotel clearly not wanting to wet their feet again (haha).

Meg and I went for a walk on the beach..and stumbled on what seemed to be the biggest beach party ever...the bar had swings, bean bags with a bond fire on the beach, fire entertainers, and a dance floor overlooking the sea...Meg and I obviously stayed out a bit later than anticipated.
