A turn of events lead Kat and Dai (shall I say a cool British couple), whom I met in in a Hanoi Backpackers, to Hoi An. Meg found this easy rider guy she thought would make a good guide. The next thing we knew the four of us were sat with 2 guides (Thanh and Chuang) buying us Vietnamese coffee and giving us a sales pitch which we accepted and left 2 days later on one of the most memorable road trips...
This was the start of our Epic bike run that started in Hoi An and was due to end in Dalat, however changed our minds and mad our end desination Nha Trang half way through.
I rode a 150cc Yamaha blue machine which made me smile every time I started the powerful engine. Dai an Meg road their own bikes alternate days and Kat was sat on the back seat of Chuang (the easy rider). Kat was just looking good and proved to have amazing photo taking abilities on the back of that bike.
The journey set off in the rain unfortunately, but wasnt long before we stopped at a house that had a whole workshop on it's 2x2 porch making plastic raincoats...and so we each received our hand made rain suits in My Son (the places name). The next few days I got well acquainted with my horse powered machine and became convinced that I was born to ride!!
Our days were filled with adventure and I tried to ourline the main events or activities we got up to below, as our stories are rather endless and would be something to explain over a coffee instead:)
