The worst looking town I've seen so far, however this place is packed with history. It was thus appropriate to do a motorbike road trip to get to the tucked away bits. Was 6hrs road trip of windy roads, we arrived there at 8pm and checked into Pam's guest house. I was very impressed by the mountain range surrounding Vang Vieng. My favourite place so far!! Took a tuk tuk into town from the dock, as it was far. Booked into Lemon Spice and did as little as possible here, seemed really appropriate for this place.
