My friend Kristy picked me up at 7:30am from Heathrow, I had a 3 hour snooze at home (well my old home) and then off we went to a friend Shel's birthday party. I got to see many of my friends and was really lovely to see them.

It's been so weird being back. I met with so many lovely friends over my few days in England.

One of the reasons I came this way was to have a reunion with Leanne and Rona and we were supposed to get cold play tickets to make our party complete. However, it was negative, no tickets! We decided to make a night of it in London anyway, so made our way to South Kensington had dinner and then tried as a last resort to go to the royal Albert theatre where the concert was about to start, but they were not taking any returns and therefore no tickets were going to be available.

Disappointing, but we were able to hear some of their songs, granted a bit muffled and could obviously not see them...kind of not ideal! Off to Soho we went to a secret cocktail club. Then back to Walton-on-Thames for a car party...these are good fun. I got some lovely birthday gifts too!! It was all in all a great achievement for us 3 to be in the same place, same time and we had such a blast.

Could not believe it was already time for Rona to take me back to Heathrow for my flight to South Africa...oh how the time flies!!
