Giorgio (who has travelled with us since the Cameron Highlands) convinced me to go with him to Koh Lipe, so we bought tickets to Pakbara and then got a speed boat to Koh Lipe. 24 hrs journey later; Koh Chang to Bangkok to Champong by bus then ferry to koh Tao, Iet Theresa and Ingrid on the way two lovely girls from Spain and Holland. Took the mini bus from Pai at 8am via Chiang Mai arrived in Chiang Khong at 8pm. Stayed overnight in lovely guest house with views of the Mekong.
