I have so many pictures to show you, but am unsure how to attach more than one on here at a time so i will find another of displaying the pictures so that you are able to see them all, it maybe that i have to put them on a disc for you so that you can take them home to show everyone, please bear with me on this :)

I have talked a little about the hotel and farm, now what about the actual town itself and what is available for you when you visit.

The town is full of young people attending the university. Sorry to say we will miss the first day of student celebrations, but there is a whole week of activities which are student led, from parties by the river where live music is played, games of all kinds are played, everyone tells me it is very lively.

If the weather is as good as it has been for the last three days, please rememeber to bring sun tan lotion and aftersun, I also suggest a wide brim sun hat that you will be able to work in, as well as wear in your free time.

The farm will provide all PPE in the form of overalls and boots, but please let your tutor know your sizes then this can be arranged - this is very important, please could you do thias as soon as possible.

There are so many places to eat that no one will go hungry, from small typical Portuguesse cafes to larger more well known brands which you will all recognise when you see the signs, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, KFC etc all within walking distance from the hotel.
