I woke up once again to minus temperatures which will continue as we approach winter and will be around for quite a few months, I think until at least March, but that did not stop me from piling on the layers to go shopping. Looking and feeling like the Michelin Man, I wobbled through the estate to get to the bus stop and had to stop to take photos as I passed the ponds. They're starting to ice up and have either snow floating around them or big broken pieces of ice that look like shards of glass. My fingers nearly fell off as I took my gloves off to take a few photos. I couldn't take the photos quickly enough so I could get my hands back into my warm, fluffy gloves! The icy wind hits you in the face as you walk and tears just start tumbling down your cheeks. Whichever part of your body is uncovered, gets hit as well. It feels like a thousand swords going through whichever part of your body is exposed to the cold. The sun was shining brightly and the skies were a beautiful bright blue with no clouds in sight. Looking out the window, it looked like a day for the beach. Oh, how deceiving the sun is!
