My phone beeped half way through the morning with a message from Julia, our school receptionist. The message read, "Today will be lesson with Ksusha at 5. She is the second sister of Alex. Thanks"
I had a one-on-one lesson, with a boy named Alex, last week Tuesday. He was so impressed with the lesson, the following day, Wednesday, his sister, Nestia, came for a lesson and was so happy with her lesson that she asked her mother if she could come again on Friday, which she did! And the message I received today, was for the second sister to come for her first lesson!
I now have the whole family coming to me for one-to-one lessons. My late afternoon slots are filled up from just one family! Alex likes sharks and the desert. Nestia is into art and wants to become a professional sculptor/ artist and Ksusha wants to become a linguist. Her native language is of course Russian. Her English is advanced, she speaks a little Japanese and knows a few words in German. She picked up a few Hebrew words as well during their vacation to Israel a year ago!
