My first private student! YAY! I was told when I had my interview for this job that at the end of the day I would have a couple of private students and perhaps one or two midday as well when I have my afternoon break. I can see my days become jam-packed with my usual morning classes, private classes, regular afternoon classes and more private classes in the early evening. Certainly a full days work!

Alex is 12 years old and a very serious boy! I wasn't sure of his level, so had no actual lesson planned. When he arrived, I introduced myself and then went ahead and started the lesson. Almost everything I gave him to do was way too easy for him. He cannot converse properly in English but he knows many words and can speak in really short sentences. His reading was also good, I think I'm going to have a lot of fun teaching him. I do believe his sister may be coming to me as well for private lessons. I'm looking forward to teaching her too,.
