Woke up to grey skies! Russia welcomed me with warm weather and beautiful autumn shades but after four days of being in the country, it decided I needed to know what was to come, so out went the blue skies and they were replaced with grey skies, a soft drizzle and a cold wind. Cold enough for me to have to put on a jacket and a scarf as I headed outdoors. I wasn't going to let the cold or the ever so slight drizzle get me down and I wanted to explore my surroundings. The modern architecture of the houses in the complex are certainly to be admired! I've yet to see a plain looking house. I've see quite a few of them with paintings on the outside. The artwork is just as amazing as the house itself.
As the school as no curriculum for the kids, I spent the afternoon drawing up lesson plans, looking for songs, games and more. If anything, this job is definitely a challenge. The teaching part is easy, it's the lesson plans that take up a lot of time and work. In essence, I'm actually writing a full syllabus.
