Well we're now fully qualified PADI divers and what a great experience we've had! It's been hard work, we've had tests and a final exam, lots of skills to learn in shallow water like taking our mask off, putting it back on and then emptying it, taking our breathing equipment out of our mouth underwater, breathing out and then using it again, navigating underwater and having our air turned off so that we know what it feels like and then using our buddys alternativ...

Well we had a crazy couple of nights in Ko Pha-Ngan and got quite a shock to our system on the first night because we stayed in a proper party place where the pumping music didn't stop until 6am in the morning, the room was horrible and the fan didn't work!! All we could think was we want to be back in Poppies!!! Well we got our exit visa's for Cambodia the following day and then got on a lovely bus to Siem Reap (we even got free water and cookies!!). The journey took six hours and on the way we saw a beautiful sunrise. When we arrived in Siem Reap we saw a tout holding a piece of paper up saying 'Mr Jam Abbie'. Obviously we found this very funny. Hi guys, I ended up having a great time on Sunday exploring Chiang Mai and Jem really enjoyed his cookery course and met loads of cool people. One couple from Adelaide have invited us to stay with them which is lovely!! We spent Sunday night shopping along 'The Walking Street' which is basically a long street with market sellers and amazing food. It starts about 4pm and by the evening it's really busy.
