Well we had a crazy couple of nights in Ko Pha-Ngan and got quite a shock to our system on the first night because we stayed in a proper party place where the pumping music didn't stop until 6am in the morning, the room was horrible and the fan didn't work!! All we could think was we want to be back in Poppies!!! But after not much sleep we headed to a quieter beach to a lovely resort called Coco Huts which was alot nicer and a much smoother transition form Poppies. Here we swam in the sea, read our books and relaxed by the pool. Yesterday we got the boat to the beautiful Koh Tao and met up with our friends Tegan and Hen who we travelled through Laos and Vietnam with. It was good to be able to say goodbye because today they have gone back to Bangkok and on Monday they fly home - very sad saying goodbye!! We started our PADI open water diving course today. It takes four days and today was just theory, tomorrow is dives in shallow water, and then the last two days are open water dives. There's alot to learn but it's something we've both wanted to do.
