Arrived in Bangkok today a journey and a half. Hardly slept night before leaving Hong-Kong was easy. Great curry on the flight then day went down hill. Spent two hours at the airport trying to get through passport control, highlight of this being a loud argument between some Thai girls and customs probally shouting about the service something we british are conditioned just to put up with. Taxi driver did not have a clue how to get us to our hotel even after we showed him it on two different maps (appeared that he couldn't read maps). Asked directions from various others by shouting out his window and promised us 'okay' several times but still took us around in circles barely avoiding pedestrians.

Eventually arrived at hotel which is quite impressive but aaron insists there is a funny smell (it may just be that he needs a shower). Had a drink on the roof top bar which had excellent views over the city. Hopefully after a good nights sleep for once will be prepared to explore tomorrow, trying not to get run over by random taxi drivers!
