So yes did get my PADI eventually. Nearly died on one dive the current was that strong I had cuts on my hands and legs from holding onto the rope. Left Siem Reap on a bumpy road back to Bangkok. Along the way we ended up in a big traffic jam caused by a bus stuck firmly in the muddy track that passed as a road. It didn't take too long to haul it out with the aid of the lorry behind and then everyone on the road joined in to rebuild the road with the stones laying around. Started the day with a 2 hour bus ride to Wat Rong Khun in Chiang Rai. We were promised something different from all the other Wats we have seen (and there has been a lot) this was deffinately what we got. It reminded us of the ice castle in Lion the witch and the wardrobe but even more spectacular.
