Been a long couple of days and problems uploading pictures not helped (again). You can now see some of our pictures from Bangkok hope to have more of Thailand uploaded soon.  The pictures are now from a new camera as the old one refused to work.

Day started with a journey on the night train to Chiang Mai. The train was something else fold down bunk beds pillows, blankets and everything. Had the best nights sleep yet. Had a great four course meal Thai food is great but they do fry everything.

Next morning went to ride elephants ours was very hungry kept eating more and more. Whenever she went down hill you felt you were going to fall off. On the whole the ride was great, much better less smelly and more comfy than a camel. After the ride went rafting on bamboo (bamboo tied together with rope) down the river.  Keeley sat down while I punted away.  We got to get off and have swim as well as a jump in the river from the cliff.  It poured down in mid stream but do not think we could of got any wetter. You get proper rain in Thailand.

After busy day went to Irish bar yes they are everywhere and had pint of guiness and Keeley got cider.  For first time also had some english food makes a change from fried Thai.
