We are up early today, as we are going to Madame Toussauds, and we have been booked for an arrival time of 9.00. So on the tube by 7.30 thinking it would be packed with commuters. Easy run and we are there by 8.00am. Can you believe it we are the first in line. The hour goes fast with heaps going on in busy London, and people start lining up everywhere.
We actually get in 1st, and you can see a photo in one of my albums, us fist pumping our success. While this might seem strange, try lining up behind at least 100 people every time you want to go somewhere or even buy tickets to something, hence the fist pumping.
Madame Toussauds is awesome, something that is definitely worth the time and money, 120 pounds.
The kids love the Marvel 4D movie the best of all.
We decide to check out Oxford Street, but after just three shops, three of us have had enough (I'm sure you can guess which three) but to be fair, most of the shop are about four stories high............
So we all catch a bus to revisit Harrods, except Noel gets cold feet at the last minute, so he takes Lachlan and Paige home the long way, two buses and a tube ride.
AJ and I get a couple of things at Harrods, and mum you were wrong, I could afford more than a souvenir bag..........I got tea towels and a lovely mug too ! HaHa
Seriously, I was going to buy a lovely handbag, but kept looking at two hundred and fifty pounds, converting to Aussie dollars, and thinking, I could probably get this at duty free cheaper, so I shall wait.
We went to another couple of lovely shops, got takeaway sushi and went through Hyde Park on our way home and stopped to eat in the park by the water.
We walked home from Hyde Park, a lovely day out.
